Cynatech (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through cynatech.in (the “website”), why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.
1. Who we are
Cynatech is an IT services company located at 46 Chakrata Road, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. For any privacy question or request, email support@cynatech.in.
2. Personal data we collect
- Information you give us — when you submit an enquiry or quote form: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number (optional), company name (optional), the service you are interested in and your message.
- Messages you send us — when you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the details and content you choose to share.
- Technical information — like most websites, our hosting server automatically records basic request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time) for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and this website does not set cookies of its own.
3. How we use your personal data
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotes or proposals you request.
- To provide and support services you engage us for.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam and misuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or contact us, and for other legitimate uses permitted by law. We do not sell your personal data, and we will not send you marketing messages without your consent.
4. Third-party services
The website uses a small number of third-party services that may receive your IP address and basic browser information when they load:
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr — to deliver fonts, icons and layout files.
- Google Maps — the map on our Contact page.
- WhatsApp — only if you choose to click a WhatsApp link; your chat is then subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
5. Sharing your personal data
We share personal data only where necessary: with service providers who help us run our business (such as website hosting and email), with professional advisers, or with authorities where required by law. Anyone who processes data on our behalf must protect it and use it only for the purpose we specify.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to respond to you and manage any resulting engagement, and then for any period required by law. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months of our last contact.
7. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out);
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and
- raise a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@cynatech.in with the subject “Privacy request”. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period required by law.
9. Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
